Common questions

Is a quote request an application?

No. It asks us for preliminary options. Rates and coverage are subject to underwriting and carrier approval.

Do I have to buy anything?

No. Our comparison comes with no obligation.

What information do you need?

Basic contact details, the coverage you want to compare, your budget and a few details carriers use to estimate rates. We never ask for your Social Security number on the form.

Do you offer health insurance?

No. We focus on life, disability and long-term care coverage.

How soon will I hear back?

Within 24 hours. For anything urgent, email support@awminsurance.com.

What is the difference between term and whole life?

Term life covers a set number of years, such as 10, 20 or 30, and usually costs less. Whole life lasts your entire life and builds cash value, so it costs more.

What does disability insurance replace?

Part of your income, often around 60%, if illness or injury keeps you from working. Benefits begin after a waiting period you choose.

When should I think about long-term care coverage?

Many people look at it in their 50s, while they are more likely to qualify and premiums are lower.

Are the calculator results a quote?

No. They are estimates to help you size coverage. Your advisor will review them with you.
